Things here in Zambia over the past few months have been going very well. We have been taking the time to make sure that the house was put together following the arrival of our container. Emily has done well at making our house a home to which we enjoy returning. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who have donated to our vehicle fund. We have raised the funds that we needed and have purchased a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. It has already been a major blessing to our family. We look forward to seeing how God uses it as an asset to our ministry.

In mid-May, I went to the grocery store to get a few things and stood in line behind two men. After I greeted the cashier in ChiTonga, the two men looked surprised. After talking for a few minutes, we discussed a time to meet up for a Bible study. Only one of these men came to the Bible study; but following our conversation on salvation and eternal security, he bowed his head and prayed a humble prayer asking Jesus to save him from his sins.
A few prayer requests that we have for you concern health and our work permits. As I write this letter, I have just spent the past five days not feeling well and am still recovering. Please pray that I get feeling better soon and that neither Emily or the kids end up getting sick. The other major prayer request has to do with our work permit. A few weeks ago we experienced a few setbacks concerning our permits, and we traveled to Lusaka to resolve the issue. The issue has been resolved, and we are waiting for our official permits. Please pray that we receive them soon!
